I started questioning things when I was around 11 years old.
I Guess I was looking for evidence, or for things to at least make sense. How can we know that the Bible is real and written by God?
How do we know God is real. {My parents taught me there was no such thing as an invisible friend}.
The first fact I realized was that the Bible was written like no other book, yet it made sense to read. The writings intrigued me, so I read on and continued my quest...
You cannot read the Bible like a book. It helps to understand how the Bible was put together.
I'd like to say I found God, but I think it was more like God found me. I know so many people that live like there is no God. I wonder often, How they can do that? I always and constantly feel a presence with me. Even when I wasn't seeking, or wanting to follow the Lord; my conscience would never let me feel like God didn't exist.
Moral Law, A Conscience ~ Fundamental sense of right and wrong.
There were so many versions of the Bible, I was concerned I would be following the wrong one and not make the mark to Heaven.
So I started digging......
My findings..... Took on many Bible Studies, attending a variety of churches... Prayer, constantly asking the Lord questions, as if He had time to walk beside me...
I often joked that I asked so many questions He appointed me my own guardian to answer them.... {I may not be too far off the mark}
2 particular Bible Studies aided in my information

Why Believe? Investigating Evidence for Faith
We can all agree that most people have a conscience.
A Moral Law, A fundamental sense of right from wrong.
So what about the Bible "The Word of God". How did God write the Bible...?
John 1:1I the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

⇒The most significant archaeological discovery was the
Dead Sea Scrolls
Between 1947-1956.
There were writings from every book of the Old Testament except the book of Esther. The discovery held remains from 825 to 870 scrolls. There were over 40,000 fragments. These scrolls are the oldest ever discovered scroll, dating back to 100-200 years B.C.
➽➽➽➽➽

AD After Death
There were 400 silent years between BC and AD.
{At least we have yet to find any writing from that time period}
⇒Scrolls are the letters written and referred to as 'books' when they were later translated into English.
These scrolls were written by Over 40 authors in 3 continents, Asia, Africa and Europe, and in 3 different languages;
Old Testament - Hebrew
- Aramic
New Testament - Greek
⇒Despite so many uncommon threads, different background, different cultures..., Yet, the Bible is in harmony with a unity focused around
Jesus Christ.
➽➽➽➽➽
2 Timothy 3:16All scripture is inspired by God.
The word inspired is translated from the Greek word theopneustos which means Breathed .
This is the only time theopneustos is used in the Bible.
Translation reads...
All scripture is breathed out of God.
The Old Testament declares 3800 times "God said" or "Thus saith the Lord".
⇒A prophecy is a prediction with certainty.
Of the 1000 prophecies written, over 670 have come to pass.

Of the 1000 prophecies written, over 670 have come to pass.
⇒Numerous Excavations give credibility to people, cities, places and events that are recorded in the Bible.
⇒The manuscript evidence within the Bible outweighs any other ancient document, yet many scholars rarely question less proven works; such as the writings of Plato, Caesar, or Tocitos.
Which version? Do they all say the same?
KJV - King James Version, is said to be the most accurate and precise translation of the original scrolls into English.
The year 1611, The king ordered 54 scholars which spent 7 years putting the Holy Bible together.
There was a total of 49 books {letters written} in the Bible.
The Bible has since been translated into over 100 languages and distributed all over the world. Still one of the top selling books today.
