I had gotten through it all,
Until they
{MY STATE'S Social Services}
started making mistakes, that affected my
LIFE.
1. 2006 ~
My protection order was violated when they issued the respondent a concealed weapons permit. He was also given the necessary information to petition to have my order dropped.
I collapsed ending up in a hospital for 5 days, sent home with oxygen tanks and Doctors with lots of ???????? They couldn't understand why my left lung was acting as it was. My heart was out of control, hypertension and high blood pressure...
I was sent home with oxygen tanks and told I had COPD, and
The conclusion was a mild stroke? set off by a panic attack.
3. 2008 ~
Social Security Judge denied my disability because of a letter written by a psychiatrist {Not my doctor} that stated in the letter that
Melinda is doing quite well on her new medications.
I went to my doctor asking what new medications. I was told
Sorry wrong doctor wrong case. Our mistake.
4. 2008
DSHS cut me off, discontinued all benefits and medical. Leaving me addicted to 3 medications and cutting off the prescriptions.
Therapy was ended. {A mistake that wouldn't be discovered for 10 years}
2008 ~ 2018
A whole nother story.
A new doctor in 2014
a new path in life in 2018.
5. 2018 ~
I reapplied for DSHS and was required to reapply for Social Security.
DSHS admitted it was their mistake in 2008 to cut me off, they were supposed to do something different.
6. 2018
Social Security listed my address to one I had in 2008... not the CURRENT ADDRESS LISTED ON THE APPLICATION.
None of my paperwork was received or returned in a timely fashion.
7. There was supposed to be someone from DSHS helping with the paperwork for Social Security..... They didn't contact me either time, until 5 days after it was too late.
8. 2019 ~
I finally got the corrected address with Social Security just in time for them to send me a denial letter.
My therapist quit her job and did not forward my case, leaving me to START OVER AGAIN.
9. 2019 ~
I had to file an appeal and so far Social Security has my address correct.

DSHS NOW HAS MY ADDRESS CHANGED TO THE ADDRESS I HAD IN 2008 !!
10. After a year of having my address CORRECT, someone decided to change it without my consent or knowledge to an INCORRECT ADDRESS.
11. 2019 ~
My new therapy intake worker, after explaining to him that the States mistakes are my PTSD and ANXIETY right now, having to start OVER AGAIN AND AGAIN, I'm never going to get to MOVE PAST THE PAST.

People that get good grades in school and go on to college, get jobs with large corporations or important organizations like hospitals and lawyers....
People that barely get their high school diploma, or GED and little to no college
Work for your government
Minimum job requirements and
The lowest paying jobs in our country.
