When it rains it pours.

The furnace didn't work when we moved in and we celebrated a year just in time to have the storm take out the furnace again just couple weeks ago.... as it gets colder, we are without heat waiting for repairs.

Sometimes it really feels like there is a storm cloud overhead that never stops raining.... of course... when it rains it pours.

My beloved horse has a sore on her underside that no one has experienced before. I can't even find a google similarity to get a clue about it. So yes, it's going to be a healthy vet bill. She'll have to be sedated so they can flip her over to see it. The treatment..... medications... I'm trying to work on the extra money to be prepared before the appointment.

Extra Money?

Mind you we still have a car needing to get to the shop and get fixed. The double driving is wearing out the other car and ME!!  More bills to catch up and I don't think I'll ever know what it feels like to be caught up or on top of it all.

This 'working' for someone and not having control of my schedule has affected me in many ways. The extra money is always nice, even though it doesn't really feel like we're getting ahead. I've missed out on the grandkids completely for almost 2 months. I'm not getting to spend near as much time as I'd like to with the horses... my house is not the clean I like it to be....

So, no, sometimes I don't think it's all worth it. I really do prefer to work for myself and be able to schedule life around my time with the grandkids.

I recently bought several new games after hearing about the things they are trying to take out of school. Seems kids need all the help they can get to make sure they learn what's important...

Around here we enjoy game nights and board games..... The SimplyFun games are fantastic at helping teach many subjects... We have a lot of fun and Everyone learns something new every time.

Now to find the time to play!

A Thought or two to Ponder

The Bible tells a story where Jesus mentions that "two will be walking, one will be taken and one left behind."

I remember when I was young, I had older cousins. One had a hump on his back and he walked hunched over. I remember being told he had gotten Polio when he was young. ...

As the story goes...

The boys had to cross a ditch of water on their way home. The older brother put his little brother on his shoulders and walked through the ditch. He was submersed in the water past his waist, while his little brother only got his feet wet.

Turns out the Polio was in the water. It was the little brother that came down with it and remained humped backed the rest of his life. While the older brother was not even affected.

To Vax or not Vax...

Seems that if your chosen to get the virus, your going to get it with or without a vaccine. Seems if your meant to survive it - you will. If it's your time to go, there isn't much a vaccine will do to stop it.

We are living in a new world.

To Vax or Not to Vax

several Dr.’s on the business channels who have clearly stated the following:

  • Currently, the State and Federal Governments are  not acknowledging natural ammunity if you have had the virus, which is 27 times stronger than the vaccination, and have suggested if you have had COVID you should not get the vaccine, as it interferes with your natural ammunity. In Washington State, 70% of the folks have been vaccinated, and they believe another 15% have natural ammunity. The nursing home folks (our most vulnerable portion of the population) have been vaccinated at a rate of 95%
  • The Pfizer shot is causing the lining of the heart to swell in males between the ages of 15-20 years of age
  • The dose for children is the same as adults, which they are concerned with
  • Because the virus has attenuated (the DELTA and MU variant at this point), the original vaccines are not as effective, hence why people are getting the virus after being vaccinated, as the vaccine was made for the original strain
  • The death rate is lower than that of the normal flu at this point
  • Children are typically not carries of the Virus, and the recovery rates up to age 20 is 99.997%. From age 20 to 40 it is 99.98%. The children that have died have all had pre-existing conditions. It isn’t until you get to age 70+ that recovery rates are 94.6%, and all who have died have had at least 2 pre-existing conditions
  • Normal flu has been recorded as almost non-existent this past year

As is the case with all viruses, they attenuate (or mutate and get weaker with time). That is what happened with AIDS, SARS, MERS, MERSA, EBOLA  ect. The virus does not want to kill its host. In the case of DELTA variant, it is much more contagious, but is not as deadly. In fact, the death rate is lower than that of the normal flu at this point, so while people are getting hospitalized with the variant, they are recovering and getting out of the hospitals quickly. In India (and I believe Australia, but I could be wrong about that), the hospitalization rates are back down below what they were prior to the DELTA break out. We are also showing signs of that in the US where we have had DELTA breakouts. They think this particular variant could be under control as early as the end of September or beginning of October.

Immunologists believe they will need to develop a yearly shot that is similar to the current flu shot, where it is slightly different every year to combat the various variants, from year to year. One of the manufactures is already working on a combination flu/COVID vaccine.

Subject: To Vax or Not to Vax

Now that 50% of Americans have been vaccinated for COVID-19, the data is becoming stronger that the vax is not as effective and safe as has been promoted. Many medical doctors and scientists are now very concerned that the program should be stopped based on growing evidence, while our Gov and corporations and news agencies are threatening the public with extreme penalties for not getting vaxed.

The following interview is not just a sound bite, but is a thorough discussion by a renowned Dr and researcher who brings facts to explain what he believes is happening to people. I would recommend you listen with an open mind.

Educate yourself.....

EXCLUSIVE: Former President Donald Trump blamed Democrats for COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy among some Americans, saying they "disparaged" the vaccine when he was president.

During an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Trump reacted to President Biden’s executive order last week, mandating employers with more than 100 workers to require coronavirus vaccinations or test employees weekly. Biden also announced that all employees of the federal government would be required to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.

"It shouldn’t be necessary," Trump said, referring to the mandates which have drawn criticism from Republicans and some in the private sector.

It's your body, you should have the right to decide......

Labor Day Weekend

I hope everyone had the chance to spend some time with family this weekend.... The stars are beautiful tonight where I live.. Nice way to end summer and officially start acting like it's fall.

It used to be school started TOMORROW, FOR EVERYONE. Not some last week and some next week and some last month.... We used to be united in so many ways. It made it so much easier for families when they moved, to make the adjustment to a new place. Made it easier for teachers to adapt as they moved up in their role, as an educator and role model at a new school..

A couple years ago when this 'pandemic' started and they said.. "two weeks", I told you it wasn't going to be any 'two weeks', I warned you about the ongoing outcome.....

While it's nice kids are going back to school they are talking about it like they are getting the illness now... When really, they have been so isolated that their bodies need to rebuild the common immunes.

I told my grandson, your internal scientists haven't had to work while you've been in isolation, so it's going to take a bit for them to start fighting the local germs...from other kids in general. Your going to get a bit sick at the beginning of the school year.... This used to be a part of 'normal'.

The weekend was a great chance to enjoy some events like 'normal'.

However I don't understand the 'masks'..

You see... I work back in 'retail'.

Money - products - cleaning.... My hands go through hell, meanwhile all the mask does is prevent me from breathing clean air. Makes it hard to talk and understand others, causes you to inhale cotton fibers.......

A new normal, all the way around.

My 'new life' is finally settling into a new normal schedule. Between life and work..  I'm still working on the routine with the horses on the nights I work late. And I really don't know what a day off is. As I'm still a Notary and schedule appointments on my 'day's off', as well as watch the kids and take care of the plants and house.

BUT on the up side of things. I love having my grandkids...... and ,

I got to have the boys on Sunday, watched them for my oldest daughter while she worked... 2 of my grandsons and a great grandson. And I get to see a couple more tonight, my youngest grandson and another little granddaughter, while I go to my youngest daughters so she can go to work @  2 am. I'll take them to school in the morning.

It's my day off and the goal is to go see my son's daughter. That little granddaughter is home schooling K-12 this year... I can't wait to hear all about it!

So, with everything coming into the 'fall routine' and 'school year'.... I hope to get back to the blogging on a regular basis again. "Today's Quotes" and the other little things I used to do..... 'normally'.

I truly hope everyone had an amazing summer and may the future bring blessings to you and yours.
