What kind of Job do you do?

My "working" life started out working in a laminating factory. My neighbor owned the business and invited me to come learn the trade.

Once I was over '21' while out shooting pool one evening, I was asked by the owner of the bar if I'd be interested in a job. I started out as a waitress for a couple weeks, advanced to bar tender and within a week behind the bar, I became the 'pull tab' tender.

For the next several years I worked running pull tabs at various bars in the area. An EX with domestic violence issues, led to the 'needing to move' from job to job. { The kids and I had to 'move' just as frequently}.

I then spent some time at a copy production company, went back to school and eventually opened my own business. Around that time the internet and home computers were within grasp for the average person and things were starting to open up 'on line'.

My business toured the 'event' seasons of summer. We held a website with on line orders and we had the shop which required someone's attendance. It was a decade of an adventure, well spent! My kids all worked with me in one way or another and they grew up to be outstanding 'workers'. All have impressed many employers with their

WORK ETHICS.

I then turned to 'mystery shopping' and 'customer service evaluations'. This advanced to 'inspections' and 'business verifications'. After a decade in a variety of situations and circumstances, I have become a certified Customer Service Specialist.

With age has come disabilities, and after years of a struggle, I received my Social Security disability. Once I had the stability needed to heal, I was able to do just that and recover to the point of being able to 'work' again.

PART TIME.

I became a Notary Public and enjoy working with people when they need my services. I still get requests from Schedulers to do shops and inspections.

And,

I went back to work for 'someone else'. Working with other people.......

I'm finding less people have good WORK ETHICS or any pride in their work. They do half ass shitty jobs and don't care. Making the job harder for those that do care.......

What happened to people?

I get that so many don't have any self respect and go out shopping in their pajama's but to be such sloths at work?

The New Routine {Again}

It's been nice for the horses, with the exception of Star Bright being a bit mean to Lil Star around the hay bin.

They have shelter, water and lots of it and pasture. It's their own choices if they want to go in the shelter or stand in the rain or lay outside under the stars.

They get to be horses!

And every day they get their tub of treats with mum. I like to see them daily, even if it's just for treats and a check in.

I like to make sure no one is hurt, and if they are, make sure they are healing. Plus, we just like to be connected. They are my 'grounding' in this universe. Sometimes I just need to hang out with them and 'plug in'.

The new place is a private farm, not a lot of boarders or traffic. There is a beautiful Arena and round pen to work the girls out in. Just recently, Our new landlords took us on a tour of the arena, round pen and we walked off down the road a ways where there is open riding.

I think as we settle in and spring turns to summer, we are really going to like it here....

Talk about Attitude.

I got my girls moved! They now have pasture, a shelter and constant supply of water!! As well as a wonderful care taker, feeding them twice a day and looking after them.

The schedule at work was killing me and hurting them with 'self care'. They needed fed on schedule and they weren't getting any exercise or room to run around and be horses. I really needed 'full care'.

So after the people at the barn turned on me and became unfriendly, we knew it was time to start looking.

As always  ~ if it's meant to be, it will be. We found the perfect place! Right down to the hauling them in  -  after the horse hauler had to cancel as she couldn't get out to me, The bridge of her driveway washed out!! The wonderful person I'm moving to offered to come haul us in!

Made for one crazy day with a very happy ending.

I'm still a little confused myself over what happened @ the ole barn.....

BUT

Someone getting in my face telling me "I need to get my shit together", when they are the one's that really need to get their shit together...

Ya, that ended the 'relationship'. I don't tolerate being talked down to by anyone..

And you shouldn't either.

Respect!

Help for School

We're starting to get quite a collection of the 'Simply Fun' games!

There is something  for all ages.

My Great Grandson plays 'Share a Berry' by himself. He loves stringing the berries. He also enjoys a good round of 'My Monsters'.
My youngest Grandson loves the 'To the Coop' game. We bought him his own for Christmas. Flicking them chickens never gets old.
Both of my youngest Granddaughters love and I mean LOVE
'Bee Alert'. Remembering which color bee is under which hive can get quite tricky as the game progresses.
I also have an autistic Grandson who enjoys many of the games.
'My Mine' has helped him with his counting and the 'Bee Alert' really gives your memory skills some practice.

One of my granddaughters doesn't like math, yet we have her playing 3 different math games that she enjoys! The 'Math Room' is a great way to practice basic addition and subtraction.

My family had a blast playing 'Artributes' @ family game night. We laughed to the point of tears! My daughter in law would barely get a line drawn and my son would guess what she was thinking...  my granddaughters borrowed the game to take home and play some more, they had so much fun!

The levels of education vary, there are even some games that us adults are challenged with. Such as 'Do you know Shakespeare?' and 'Owl solve that'.

If you have a young one struggling in school, or just want to add a variety to your homeschool curriculum ~ the Simply Fun games make a great addition!!

Check it out!.. and if you'd like to earn some 'half price' games, we do on line and facebook parties as well as home shows. Click here to find out more.

As an independent "Playologist" I'd love to help you find a few games that your family would enjoy~

If your looking for a way to earn a few extra dollars as the price of gas and other things are rising like crazy, I'd love to share with you how to join my team. You can earn 25% to 40% commission on sales, paid weekly.
