Happy Valentines Day

My fur babies are exhausted after spending 4 days and 3 nights with some of our Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren...

Best Valentines weekend ever!!  My youngest son's daughter hasn't been over in a few weeks, and both of my daughters kept the kids home the last couple weekends, so it's been a while for all of them. Then we had a meet up with 'cousins', who haven't seen each other in just as long or longer..

So my house was crazy this weekend, and I sumhow, managed to go to work and back !

Papa had a blast playing legos and showing his telescope to the kids. It's amazing how much you can actually 'miss the noise', once your children grow up and move out.

I know in some countries families continue to live together for several generations. In North America (Canada and the US ) It's more common for the children to leave home after completing school or becoming military aged.

However, with our failing economy in the US, many young people and their children have been needing to move back in with parents. The family unit in America has been breaking down for many generations, so it's often only one parent and the children returning home.

I have to wonder if the drive for 'independence' has created a greater separation in the 'unity of family'.

Personally, I would love to have a 12 bedroom house with at least 13 bathrooms and all my kids and their families. I think everyone would benefit from the combined family structure.

I also think there would be far less homelessness in our country.

What's it like where you are?
I'd love to hear from you.

Blessed by God
