Polaris

He's home! After careful consideration, I spent the $150 to have him hauled up the hill and home. It was the wise choice in the end. His first trailer ride was really scary and someone was able to ride with him in the cargo area, so he wasn't alone. A small scratch on his leg and forehead and he's all in one piece!

{Polaris} I'll let you google it to see what it means you don't already know.

He's just 1 year old and has never been anywhere but where he was born and now home with me.

His mother was white and about as big as Star Bright, and they are unsure of which of the stallions were his father. {This is one of the many rescue horses from the "Hoarding" story that broke last fall}. His winter coat was white with a black under tone, and he seems to be somewhat roan? I have seen the stallions that are possible, so as he grows we'll be able to figure it out.

He will be seeing the Vet in a couple weeks, Gelding is important, as I have two mares! Be responsible with rescues! Please.

He's never been abused, injured or 'damaged' in any way. This is a chance to have a horse from start to finish and raise it right. Never had such a privilage.

It's Raining @ the Bright side of the Barn!

https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/seattle-area-protests-live-updates-on-friday-june-12/

I don't have a TV, I don't "watch" the news. I listen to news radio about once a day. During the virus I would tune in for Presidential and Govenor speaking. Since then, this has taken over the news, not just here but everywhere.

First and foremost, let me say. My second husband is native american from Canada and I have 2 half black grandchildren, and my great grandchildren are mixed. Do not try to call me racist or prejudice. I was born in 1964 and went through school at a time when people were separated into their own communities. Some housing communities prohibited Chinese, Native and Blacks from living amongst the white.

This case is not the first. Through out history, we have abused and taken advantage of other races and the poor. We abuse animals like it's our duty.

Until all life is respected, we will continue to have these complications.

My thoughts are simple,

Does anyone not realize that those 'surviving' the virus are seldom heard of or from?

Is anyone really surviving?

What effect has the virus had on people's minds. Is this something like rabies? People are acting pretty crazy.

Does anyone not wonder why the police are letting the looters stay?

Do you think possibly the thought is that they are all going to get the virus and kill themselves off. So if the officials let them stay for a couple weeks, they will all get infected.

May take time, but problem solved?

As long as we are fighting with each other and disrespecting each other the problem isn't going to change. It isn't a police uniform that is the problem, it's the mind set of people. Sometimes those people wear uniforms.
