Why I drive on E {Empty}

 I'm famous for running on E {Empty} and running out of gas. My daughter buys me a AAA membership, cause it's easier than loading all the kids and bringing me gas.

 Tonight, I'm all but out of gas at work. Hey, I made it to work! However, I knew I'd be walking to 4 corners because my truck would run out before I got out of the parking lot. I was joking around about it at work and a very kind customer came back with his gas can and got me a couple gallons to get to town. You see I work at a GAS STATION, however, our tanks are being replaced and there is no gas.

 So, why do I drive on E.? I've had so many people give me crap about this..........

You see ~

 Several years ago, I had my tank full and my car parked in my back yard. Of course that very night was the night MY CAR WAS STOLEN. The police found it later the next day wrapped around a pole - TOTALED. I've never filled my tank and left my car over night since.

 If someone steals my vehicle, they won't get but 2 miles down the road. I put in what I need to get where I'm going and home again. Just enough to get to the gas station to do it again.

Here Comes the Sun ~ At last

 This year the weather has been crazy for most of us. Washington has always had it's own weather, but this year has been special.

 Last summer was really really hot. The winter was super cold. Spring.... Well we haven't really had spring. It's been colder than normal, as wet as normal, and not as much sun as normal. This year has not been normal.

 Of course, with working, the weather and I never meet up and agree. It's beautiful outside when I'm at work and it pours down rain when I'm off. Or if I'm off and have appointments, it's super nice {Thankfully}. But if I'm off wanting to play with my horses.... it pours and pours and the wind blows and blows.

 This weekend is no different.

 The temp. is what has changed. We've went from diving into the Arctic's to the Sun has come out and things are finally thawing out.

 It's almost summer and we are finally seeing the spring weather we look forward to. Gardens are going to be late this year, it is still a bit wet and soggy.

 Today, I start the training for a new position with Safeway. Of course the sun is out and in full glory. Got to run feed the horses and that's about all the time this morning. Hopefully this training won't take all day and the sun will still be out when I'm done.

 A 20 minute ride would be better than no ride at all.

How's your weather doing?
